Objective:​​

To build a trustworthy name brand and attract wedding photographers to join the platform, complete onboarding, and connect with vendors and wedding couples to grow their business through marketing and networking.

​

Challenge:​

Wedding photographers were facing a downturn in the industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to a lack of engagement and new business opportunities. There was no efficient way for photographers to showcase their portfolios and connect with potential clients and vendors.

Solution:​

Platform Development: Created an online platform for wedding photographers to showcase their portfolios and connect with vendors and wedding couples.

​

Specific Actions Taken:

  • The team conducted a total of 14 interviews to gather insights.

  • Set up online surveys using Google Forms to understand demographics and refine interview questions.

  • Synthesized data to create empathy maps, personas, and user journey maps.

  • Held ideation workshops with photographers and stakeholders to generate solutions.

  • Developed low and medium-fidelity wireframes and conducted user tests to iterate the design.

  • Established partnerships with educational institutions and software providers to offer discounts and incentives to onboard photographers.

  • Developed an SEO strategy to build traction and visibility for Wedora.
